halloween!!(a few weeks late..)

alright, so i know it's mid november, but here are some pictures of the little man dressed as a traditional german man.. complete with his oktoberfest brewski!! (don't worry y'all, it's a sippy wrapped in mama's awesome artwork) this is an outfit that matt also wore when he was just a wee little lad, so maybe it will become a family tradition...well, i guess next post will most likely be a thanksgiving update, so ta ta for now!!

how stoked is everyone about president obama?!?! i know issac is.. his grandma and nanta beth sent him this awesome t shirt, and if you ask him who's on it, he says "bama"... so rad.. his cousin sebastian got one too, as you can see in the first picture.. i watch bashy on tuesdays, and it was a snow day, so matt was off work.. we loaded up the boys and took them to our polling places..(matt never reregistered when we moved to sugarhouse..shhh..) it was fun to see the boys in their matching getups, but they really didn't have much fun in the hallway of the old folks home that matt votes at, but they did get some free bagels in the "voters lounge" that was set up.. and then, they didn't even go in with me at st. ann's school. voting in utah is highly uneventfull.. just a bunch of olds..not even a bunch really, more like five people in a huge gym. i wish we had more of a crazy turnout, but i guess people just assume that the mo's control it all so why bother? well, anyway, matt and i then took the boys to starfucks to get our free "i voted" coffee, and being the kind serviceperson that i am, i insisted we actually buy something, and ordered a huge rice krispie treat, which i am saddened and ashamed to admit, totally spanked my (many) krispie treat recipes, i must figure out how to replicate it! so the boys had a sugar-fueled crazy fest once we got back home..

that night, i cried along with jesse, oprah, and everyone else, that was soo happy we just sat and stared.. go bama..

oh, yeah, i figured out the picture thing.. not hard, i just truly am computarded..

i don't think september actually happened....

so much happened in september that it just flew by! nothing really major, just busy all the time..
isaac is a total chatterbox all the time.. his new favorite thing is they might be giants:here come the abc's!! he runs around the house yelling "go go go geeee!!" cutest shit i've ever seen.. he also likes to "siim"(swim) in the tub by getting on his tummy and kicking his legs. it's hilarious. the nannying is keeping us out of the house which can be good and bad. i don't think we've been this behind in laundry since isaac was first home from the hospital.. and also, boys are messy (both of them, ha) in work news, i'm going to start managing at the dodo actually just assistant manager(ass man) so that will be a nice change.. we have a new landlord who is moving in to the other side of the house and she's super nice and all, but they're re modeling the whole side so it's been insanely loud over there and isaac hasn't been napping well at all for the past few days and it;s taking it's toll on us all!! hmm.. what else, oh! natalie had a very lovely get together for all of her bridesmaids a couple weeks ago.. so that, along with a newly purchased laptop, has set off a lot of blog and website searching for all things wedding related!! super fun stuff, but highly addictive... eats up a lot of time that could be spent folding laundry, ha ha! we shall return, with more exciting updates...and pictures??

very busy lately..

nice, how i start a blog and then post nothing.. well, we've got a packed schedule these days. isaac and i head over to nanny @ 830 and don't get home til 230, he goes down around 3, then i clean the house til i have to get ready for work, then i'm out the door by530! not home til 11 most nights.. then, poor matt leaves the house by 6am, and gets home just in time to shower before i have to go. luckily this only happens 3 nights a week, but nannying is m-th, so still, not much fun.. matt's doing a really good job at being mr. mom, so that's very sweet to see.. my boys are awesome! the new nanny gig is going very well, the little guys have a lot of fun together, and the parents are very nice people.. one thing i find odd however is the lack of either pets or plants in the house. maybe there's an allergy situation, or something.. but not even like a kitchen windowsill cactus or anything.. i don't know, maybe it's just me but i feel like a house needs plants and/or pets.. any how, i have figured out how to get pics from the camera to the computer, but now i've got to tackle computer to blog.. maybe next post?

thank goodness that's over...

All summer longI nannied for a few different kids, a brother-sister duo, ages 7 & 10, my nephew who's 5 and my niece who's 6. And well, elementary school starts next week,andI couldn't be happier.....Don't get me wrong, it was a good time for the most part, but a mix of ages and genders like that was just too much sometimes("he's looking @ me!", "she touched me!", etc..) So, begining next weekI'll be looking after a cute little dude who is just a couple months younger than Isaac, and hopefully, the craziness will be toned down a few notches, butI guess we'll just have to wait and see...

the triumphant return of netflix!!

last tuesday i got a pop up for a 2 week netflix trial. we had it before but my dumb ass used a credit card that expired a month after i signed up so it was a very short lived membership. so i decided to sign us right up and then come to find out that there were some "issues" (their wording) @ netflix so we didn't actually get any movies till this saturday. oh well, our 2 week trial got extened for an extra week so i can't complain.. due to an oversight on my part i inadvertently signed up for the 3 @ a time plan so come saturday we got the entire third season of Weeds!! i'd forgotten how effed up everything was at the end of season 2.. pretty epic stuff.. coming next will be surfs up! a penguin movie that i hope isaac will like a lot mainly cause matt and i are about ready to make happy feet disappear. that boy loves him some pengies!!

i'm so very proud of myself! i am starting to get the hang of this blog building stuff and have managed to create what i think is a pretty sweet playlist. i will add to it as inspiration hits me.. now, on to photos...
